Continued support for local families in Leeds

1–2 April 2014

Attending school parents’ evening is always an anxious moment for parents and students. EducateFirst was invited over a two-day period to support parents and their children at a local primary school in Leeds, providing an overview of the educational services we provide. Children enjoyed a number of complimentary giveaways as they waited for their parents.

The benefit of our learning initiative became apparent with a number of parents informing us that their children were already attending our sessions in Maths, English or Science at the Leeds centre and were making excellent progress. This was excellent feedback and great to learn that the school teachers have observed a significant improvement in the children’s abilities as well as increased confidence.

Our team with to thank the school governors and staff at the school for their hospitality and support, and we look forward to working closely with them to support local children and their families.

The objective of our learning programme is to provide support to local school children and help them reach their potential. Tutoring sessions are help all year round, with special SATs and GCSE revision classes providing additional support to students preparing for exams in 2014. A summer school is also planned for the forthcoming holidays in July and August. Register now at: www.educatefirst.co.uk/classes

  1. Hey, good to see companies teaming up with school to help kids in schools. This is a step in the right direction and I hope more schools get involved from all over Leeds. This will be good for primary kids and kids sitting GCSE exams.

  2. Hello,

Can anyone attend the KS1 and KS2 classes at the learning centre or is it for kids who attend certain schools? We would like to join asap as our kids want some help with their school work to help them get ready for the next year when my son will be doing SATs.

    Thank you.
