The re-launch: Academic year 2015-16

Today we saw the re-launch of EducateFirst‘s maintain its commitment by re-launching its community-based academic learning programme – making educational support affordable and easily accessible to all.

The first day was deemed highly successful with both new and returning students enjoying their attendance and making the most of their time during the sessions. Following a brief introduction from the tutors, the learning got underway with the delivery of some very lively and highly interactive lessons. This year all students received a special FREE welcome pack comprising a folder, pencil case, pen, ruler and notebook – no more excuses for not having any paper or something to write with. In addition, brand new workbooks and revision guides and other resources were delivered to each learning centre so that students are able to make best use of their time during each session.

We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome some of new team members who experienced for the first time what we do and why we do it – to support your children in your local community. So, if you have not yet taken advantage of our service, please feel free to contact our team for more information or visit www.educatefirst.co.uk.

We thank all those who once again worked so hard over the summer holidays to ensure we are able to continue providing this type of support to local students within our diverse and multicultural communities. All those involved should be proud of what they have achieved and the benefit that has been provided to local children. Delivering this project and meeting the educational wishes and needs of students and their parents will be no easy task, but we endeavor to continue our work.

Please note: Unfortunately, many students attended the first learning session without having registered. We are only able to provide this tutoring service to those who have informed us that they will be attending. We are sorry that some parents were disappointed that we did not allow them to stay, but we have a very strict policy and must abide by this as well as any health and safety regulations to ensure the learning sessions are run in an environment that is safe for all students and our staff. Parents who still wish to register their children can do so online at www.educatefirst.co.uk/classes or by telephone (0113 265 3459). The team is working hard to accommodate all new students.
