1 October 2016
Today’s crisp October morning saw the start of a new academic year here at EducateFirst. After months of planning and preparation, the EducateFirst staff were delighted to see our fresh-faced students arriving at our learning centres in Huddersfield, Leeds and Bradford, ready to learn.
Students were set for fantastic fun-filled and interactive sessions in Maths, English and Science, prepared by our tutors. With the national curriculum changing annually, we at EducateFirst firmly believe it is essential to keep up-to-date with the latest schemes of work for our students. Following intense planning over the summer months, our tutors were able to deliver lessons to reflect these changes, allowing our students to consolidate their schoolwork. Furthermore, the first 200 students who registered received an 8GB USB stick – a useful tool for saving and backing up all that important schoolwork.
Not only have we gained new students in our 2016/17 cohort, but we are also delighted to welcome new members of our teaching staff. The increasing popularity of our learning programme has allowed the EducateFirst team to invite new tutors to bring fresh ideas to the initiative. We have worked closely with new and existing tutors in the lead up to the new academic launch to ensure our students are given the best learning experience tailored to their needs.
We hope to continue to develop and grow as a leading education provider in the community over the coming months. We at EducateFirst believe our innovative and dynamic approach to providing private tuition is key to this. The EducateFirst team will strive to ensure today’s successful relaunch is reflected over the course of this academic year.
We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our staff, especially our tutors, managers and assistant managers who worked hard to manage the project across our learning centres. The team looks forward to working with everyone during the course of the academic year as we once again strive to help students achieve their educational goals. We continue our journey with our students through their school years ensuring they receive the best educational support that they need and deserve.
