PGCE graduate recruitment day at the University of Huddersfield

We welcomed students at the 2015 PGCE graduate recruitment day at the University of Huddersfield.

EducateFirst was one of six companies that attended the day offering new teaching opportunities for PGCE graduates in secondary Science, Maths and ICT. Members of our team were there to provide guidance and tips as well as offer work in our learning centres – a great way for new PGCE graduates to gain additional teaching experience. 

It was a healthy turnout and there was a lot of interest around what we had to offer. It was no surprise that individuals were keen to register with us to have their registration fast-tracked and join our expanding team of teachers. Some graduates were already asking whether we would be attending the next recruitment event in the summer – indeed we will, and we look forward to further supporting the graduates once their exams are out of the way and they are ready for a world of work opportunities.

As a reputable and established organisation EducateFirst offers educational support to local school children to help them become proficient in core subjects, primarily Maths, English and Science. However, we are unable to provide this service to the children without the support of new teachers. We therefore welcome new PGCE graduates to join us and continue to help us make our community learning initiative a great success.
