It has been a very busy term during which we planned our student review day – a little like parents’ evening at school. This was an opportunity for parents to meet with our tutors on a one-to-one basis to receive feedback and discuss their child’s progress in class.
The face-to-face meeting proved extremely popular as it provided parents with further insight into our classes and the way we teach. Furthermore, parents received impartial advice as to how they may support their child’s education and monitor their progress at home.
The EducateFirst team that pioneered the community-based learning initiative was praised by parents for its continued efforts and work within the community.
