Yesterday, two representatives from EducateFirst hosted a competition in collaboration with a local radio station in West Yorkshire to help raise awareness of our community-based learning initiative. The prize…an amazing 7″ Google Android tablet PC loaded with applications.
Children were encouraged to phone in and attempt to answer a series of questions live on air. There were over 70 correct entries; however there can only be one winner.
Congratulations to Attar Aslam from Huddersfield
Attar’s name was picked out of the hat after he correctly answered all questions. Well done and enjoy the prize.
Will you be having more competitions on the radio? Please can you give me some details?
EducateFirst are you holding another competition in ramadan this year. Please tell me.
EducateFirst should hold a radio show for kids education. This would benefit more people in the community. You should contact the local radio stations and make it a regular event. This could include a question and answer session for parents and students to call in and get advice from teachers. You could also hold competitions.
What do you think? Please let me know.
Saima.
You should do this radio show again. Kids should listen to the radio and watch the news instead of playing computer games all day long. I hope you will encourage them with education.
