It’s time for teachers to turn on their SAT navs

It’s March. Milder weather is on its way and flowers will shortly begin to bloom. Spring is in the air and there are just 2 months to go until Year 6 students will sit their SATs. All 11-year-olds up and down the country will be assessed in Maths and English. So, it’s time for Year 6 teachers to turn on their SAT navs, get into the right gear and give their students the guidance and support they need to make the tests as stress-free as possible.

SATs can be anxious time of year for teachers, students and parents. At EducateFirst we endeavour to support all parties by making sure students are ready to sit their SATs. As with every year, our Year 6 students will enrol on a SATs preparation course – 10 weeks of intense revision with a focus on past papers and exam-style questions.

Our SATs revision lessons start on Saturday 9 March 2019 and will conclude on Saturday 11 May 2019, just 2 days before children will be sitting their SATs at school. The dates of the SATs are shown in the table below.

  1. Tuition was brilliant. The teachers were amazing at the Huddersfield centre.

The booster sessions did wonders for my daughter’s confidence and helped her understand the things she struggled with at school. She tells me she thinks she has done well in her SATs as she was able to answer the questions thats to the exam practice they had at this tuition centre.

My hubby and I have decided that we will continue sending our daughter here for as long as she needs the help.

  2. It was great to see this place give lots of help to kids who are doing their Sats exams. I sent my son here and he went to the Sats classes and he said they were very helpful. I have to say that the cost was only about £6 for each lesson but you got a lot more for what you pay for.

  3. Really good service to teach kids and get them ready for the sats exams.

  4. My kids went to this and really enjoyed it. It really helped my eldest with her SATS.

    A* Recommened.
