For Students Attending Our Classes
1.1 While we make every effort to accommodate all students, we cannot guarantee placement.
1.2 If no space is available at the time of registration, the student will be added to a waiting list.
1.3 Places may become available during the academic year, but we are unable to predict when this might occur—it could range from a few weeks to over a year.
1.4 Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly encourage early registration.
1.5 Students who are enrolled at the time of our summer break will be given priority to continue in the new academic year.
2.1.1 Payment should only be made after submitting the registration form and receiving confirmation of availability.
2.1.2 Full payment is required at registration—deposits are not accepted.
2.1.3 A 1-month advance payment is required.
2.1.4 Students who have not paid in advance will not be permitted to attend class.
2.2.1 Tuition is charged at £30 per subject per month, based on 4 weeks of lessons.
2.2.2 A materials fee of £10 per subject is charged once per academic year to cover resources used in class throughout the course.
2.2.3 Therefore, your first month’s payment will be £40 per subject, followed by £30 per subject in subsequent months.
2.3.1 After your initial payment, future payments will be automatically collected on the 20th of each month, covering tuition for the following month.
2.3.2 It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available for successful payment processing.
2.3.3 A £5 late payment fee (per student) will apply. Late payments may delay your start date and risk forfeiting your place to another student.
2.4.1 Classes typically run for 4 weeks per month.
2.4.2 In months where tuition is provided for only 3 weeks (as outlined in our academic calendar), we will automatically issue a refund equivalent to 1 week’s tuition within 5 working days of receiving your payment.
2.5.1 If you join partway through a month, your payment will be applied to the following month, unless you request to start immediately.
2.5.2 If we are able to accommodate a mid-month start, your payment will cover the current month, and we will issue a partial refund for any missed lessons within 5 working days.
2.6.1 Payments are accepted for a full calendar month, regardless of attendance.
2.6.2 No refunds will be issued if a student misses a lesson for any reason, and missed lessons cannot be carried forward into the following month.
2.6.3 Similarly, no refunds will be issued if we are unable to provide tuition due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control (see Clause 11 for details).
2.7.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time for the forthcoming month. To avoid being charged for the forthcoming month, cancellations must be completed BEFORE the 20th day of the preceding month.
2.7.2 No refunds will be issued for any remaining days if cancellation occurs prior to or during the paid month.
2.7.3 Once cancelled, your subscription status will appear as ‘Pending Cancellation’ in your account until the next scheduled payment date (usually the 20th of each month). After this date, it will update to ‘Cancelled’, confirming that no further payments will be taken.
2.7.4 You can manage your subscription, update payment details, or cancel your plan by visiting your account dashboard: www.educatefirst.co.uk/my-account
2.8.1 After your initial payment, you may opt to pay by cash for future months by pausing or cancelling your subscription.
2.8.2 Cash payments must be made in advance and are accepted only on specific dates and times – usually on the last Saturday of each calendar month. Please contact your local EducateFirst tuition centre for exact times and dates.
2.8.3 It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure timely payment, as no reminders will be sent.
2.9.1 In the event that any payment remains outstanding, EducateFirst reserves the right to refer the matter to a legal representative and/or debt recovery agency. All costs incurred as a result of this action will be added to your account and remain your responsibility.
3.1 Students may change or cancel the classes they attend only at the end of each calendar month.
3.2 If a student opts for a new subject, they will be required to purchase educational work materials specific to that subject.
4.1 Parents may arrange a short appointment with the tutor before or after lessons to discuss their child’s progress.

6.1 Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is dropped off and picked up from class on time.
6.2 EducateFirst and its staff cannot be held responsible for the welfare of any child outside of class hours. Parents/guardians must ensure children remain in the classroom until collected and do not leave the building during breaks or while waiting for their next lesson.
6.3 While we strive to ensure child safety, staff cannot monitor all children during break times and are not responsible for any child who is not present in class.
6.4 Parents/guardians must inform EducateFirst if their child has any learning difficulties, medical conditions, allergies, or is taking any medication.
