A new start to the academic year 2011

8 October 2011

Today, EducateFirst celebrated the opening of its new Dewsbury learning centre which paralleled with the start of the new academic year in both Leeds and Huddersfield.

The day had it’s fair share of minor hiccups (of some shape or form), but these were quickly resolved professionally by the tutors and management team. The students (both old and new) all very much enjoyed the class sessions. This year sees some adjustments to the teaching and learning methods used in the classes and were welcomed by all returning students who indicated that the revamped classes were definitely a positive move.

Thank you to all those involved in the preparation to start of this new year. Your fantastic support has been key to the success of this learning project for local communities.

A fabulous start to the new academic year.

  1. These classes are simple and effective. Me and my kids love the centre in Leeds. The kids are always looking forward to the next competition.

  2. Does anyone know if this is a permanent project or will it only run for 2011? What is happening in 2012 with the classes and is it too late to join?
