End of school year class activities

23 June 2012

Well, it is that time of year again where we look back at the achievements of all our students who have attended educational classes as part of our community learning project. It has been another very successful academic year at EducateFirst and all tutors and students in each learning centre celebrated with some fun educational activities.

In addition to the regular classes in Maths, English and Science, students participated in a variety of games, quizzes and other activities prepared by individual tutors. There were many prizes up for grabs as students competed in quizzes and games ranging from Mastermind to The Apprentice, testing their knowledge in core school subjects.

A special presentation session took place for our younger students who received medals and certificates to compliment their performance, attendance and perseverance throughout the year. Furthermore, students and staff (and even parents) enjoyed a range of treats and beverages provided by EducateFirst as well as the tutors.

As we celebrate another successful year, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all students and parents for providing their trust in us and allowing us the opportunity to support them with their tutoring needs. A big thank you to the management staff at tutors at each of the learning centres for their dedication, commitment and hard work throughout the year that has helped make this a successful project for local school children. We also wish to thank the individual centres, local councils and businesses who have helped support this valuable cause for their community. It has truly been a team effort and we look forward to starting all this again in the new academic year. Our classes restart on Saturday 6 October 2012Don’t forget to reserve your place.
