Many of our tutors are experienced school teachers and all hold a degree qualification (many with a PhD) in their subject of interest. All tutors have been CRB checked to ensure they have no criminal background.
Our sevices cover all subjects at all levels (primary, SAT, GCSE, A-Level and degree). It is common practice for tuition lessons to take place in the student's home. However, on occassions we may permit students to visit the tutor's home for their lessons.
We do not believe that education is only for children. That is why we offer personal tuition for all aged 4 to 40 years. For non-English students, our tutors can help you prepare for your International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exams. Contact us to find a tutor in your area.

Our PERSONAL service:
Following an initial FREE consultation, we will match each student with a suitable tutor based on the information you provide. Our tutors will develop a tailored programme to meet the specific requirements of each student. Progress will be assessed using progress charts and, where necessary, the tutors will ensure that parents are kept informed of their child's progress and provide any specific advice and special considerations.
Our charges:
Registration is FREE.
Initial consultation over the telephone or by email is FREE.Prices start from as little as £18 per hour of tuition. Please contact us with your specific tuition requirements for a quote.
VALUE for money:
5% discount if you book 10 lessons in advance
10% discount for each additional student (separate lessons)
25% discount for each additional student (part of a single lesson)You will pay EducateFirst for the tuition services you receive. You will not be asked to pay your tutor directly.
Note: EducateFirst will search for a suitable tutor in your area; however, if a local tutor is not available, a small charge of 30 pence per mile may be requested to cover the tutor's travel costs. We aim to be transparent with all our charges and we will discuss these with you BEFORE you decide to go ahead with our services. There wil be no hidden or extra charges.
2. Group tuition / Learning club
In 2010 we will be offering group tuition in the form of a learning club. This will be held at a local community centre in the evening or at weekends. Run by a qualified teacher, each class will be designed to provide students with additional support in specific areas of Maths, Science and English to help them achieve better results in school. The learning clubs will cater for KS1 to KS4.
In addition to the classroom-style learning, attending students will be encouraged to bring their own exam/course questions to the club and one of our teachers will be happy to provide appropriate guidance to allow the student to answer the questions.Please contact us if you are interested in group tuition / learning club in your area.

3. Personal e-tutor / e-advisor
For a small fee students will have access to their own personal e-tutor. Students can email questions/queries to our team of tutors for professional advice and help on homework, coursework and mock exam questions.
