How it works

1. CV service / personal statements

Cover letter - first impressions count. It is essential that the cover letter accompanying your CV is designed to generate interest in you. The letter should highlight your key selling points, leaving the employer interested and keen toread your CV in full.

CV - for each job vacancy you may be competing with up to 400 applicants. It is therefore imperative that your CV stands out from all the other applicants' CVs. Your CV must sell 'you' and is likely to be a deciding factor whether or not you are called in for an interview. Most good applicants do not even reach the interview stage as their CV did not do them any justice.

Tip:
always keep your CV up-to-date; you never know when you may urgently need it.

Personal statement - this can a general statement or written in response to a specific question. The statement should focus on key areas/activities that would be of interest to the specific role being applied for. As with a CV, a well written personal statement is key for applicants for proceed to interview stage.
